Getting older, eating better

When we were younger we would eat junk food, empty calories and caffeine all day. Now with all the chemicals and modifications being done to the food we eat, we have to focus on making healthier food choices not only for ourselves but also for our families. Becoming a late in life new mom, I have focused a lot more on what I ate while pregnant but also what I fed my babies when they became of age. People think eating healthy is cutting out all the fun food, when in fact its just making healthier decisions when eating. Food can always be fun you just have to expand your palate and willingness to try new and exciting dishes.
